About NITRO Motorsports Park

NITRO Motorsports Park is Northern British Columbia’s community-run home for drag racing. Located at 9285 Raceway Road in Prince George, the facility brings racers, crews, volunteers, families, and motorsports fans together for organized competition throughout the season.

The park is operated by a non-profit, club-owned society and is an NHRA-sanctioned member track in Northwest Division 6. Its quarter-mile drag strip includes a 700-foot concrete launch pad and a five-eighths-mile shutdown area designed to support competitive racing across multiple classes.

Racing at NITRO Motorsports Park includes bracket programs and special event weekends for local and visiting competitors. The schedule provides opportunities for experienced racers as well as spectators discovering drag racing for the first time. Event details, race classes, pricing, waiver information, and current schedule updates are published on the main website.

The facility is built around participation. Volunteers help prepare the grounds, operate race weekends, support competitors, and create a welcoming environment in the pits and spectator areas. Local businesses and community sponsors also play an important role in maintaining the park and supporting motorsports in Northern BC.

NITRO Motorsports Park aims to provide a safe, organized place for racers to compete and for the region to experience live motorsports. Visitors should review the current schedule before travelling, as event dates and track activity may change due to weather or operational requirements.
